We offer a well planned and thoughtful approach to the design process and consider every detail carefully with the aim of creating a space that is both functional and beautiful.  We understand that each client and project are unique and look forward to each new collaboration.  With our many years in the industry we have established trusted relationships with vendors and artisans that allow us to create custom furniture and art pieces specific to each project.  We also work closely with architects and contractors to ensure that your project is a success.  We view collaboration on all fronts as a positive and exciting part of the design process.

Step 1:  Consultation and Proposal

During the design consultation we will ask you initial questions to learn a bit more about your project, design goals and budget.  We will meet with you on the phone, in person and over email to discuss your personal style, how you envision using your space etc. so we can formulate and execute a design plan that suits your needs.  At this point we work on a proposal outlining your project, with estimated hours, fee structure and timeline and send out a contract for review and signature.

Step 2:  Space Planning and Design Development

During this phase, we work on the conceptual design, create floorplans and elevations as needed, develop a color scheme, carefully select furniture, lighting fixtures and all the elements required for your specific project.  Throughout this time, we will be in communication with you via email, phone and in person to ensure we are on track.

Step 3:   Specification, Purchasing and Project Management

Once we have your design plan in place, we will establish lead times, formalize proposals, receive payments and begin purchasing.  During this phase we arrange for a warehouse to consolidate and store items until your installation date.  If there is construction in your project we will continue to work with contractors and architects, meeting with them on an as needed basis to ensure a successful project outcome. As always, we will be available to answer any questions you may have and to keep you up to date on the progress of your project.

Step 4:  Furniture Installation and Styling

We arrange for the delivery of all furnishings and coordinate all professional trades needed to complete your project, from art to wallpaper and window treatment installation.  This is when we work to personalize your space with accessory selection and expert styling, the goal being a beautiful and functional home ready for you to enjoy.
