Christy Allen
Principal & Founder
Christy Allen began her interior design career in 2005, working with high-end residential design firms before earning her Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design in 2006. She founded Christy Allen Designs in San Francisco in 2014.
Known for original, vibrant and artistically driven interiors—and a meticulous attention to detail—Christy approaches every project as a personal collaboration. Her work pairs creative intuition with more than two decades of design experience, resulting in purposeful spaces that balance individuality, beauty and everyday livability.
A strong point of view, shaped around yours.
We believe the most interesting homes reveal something about the people who live in them. Artwork collected over time, a treasured family heirloom, an unexpected color, the character of an older home—or even a challenging floor plan—can become the starting point for something entirely original.
Our work balances creativity with livability, bringing together confident color, pattern, art, custom details and collected pieces in ways that feel considered rather than overly designed.
We especially love the problem-solving inherent in renovation: finding unexpected solutions, making better use of existing space and collaborating with skilled architects, builders and craftspeople to turn limitations into opportunities. Thoughtful design respects the integrity of existing architecture while rethinking how spaces can better support modern living.
The result is a home with character and a clear point of view—one that looks beautiful, functions effortlessly and feels distinctly personal to the people who live there.
